About Us

Originally built by Van and Elmer Moke, in the early 1970’s, then passed on to the daughter Karen (Moke) Harding and her husband Jack, the family Sunriver house has provided several generations with countless memories of family vacation fun!

It’s now owned by Van and Elmer’s granddaughter Amanda (Moke) Akers and her husband Daniel. The house has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored and updated, with a little 70’s funk thrown in.

We are honored to be the next stewards of The Moke House, and to continue its legacy as a memorable and nostalgic family getaway.

Great-granddaughter of Van and Elmer, Kalena Bone and her partner Patrick, have been invited to help manage the next chapter of The Moke House.
